What is a rate sheet?

A rate sheet is a list of all the destinations a provider covers, often in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format, along with applicable charges incurred by calling that destination. These charges include:

  • Connection Fee
  • Minimum Charge
  • Peak Charge
  • Offpeak Charge
  • Weekend Charge

Alongside the charges themselves, the destinations within the rate sheet are often designated with charge codes, which serve as a unique identifier for that destination. For clarity a description field is often used to provide the plain text name of the destination attributed to the charge code.
