To get started, navigate to Price Adjustments in the left-hand navigation menu.
To add a price adjustment, first, click the Add Price Adjustment button at the top-right of the screen.
To edit a price adjustment, find the price adjustment you wish to edit in the list of price adjustments and click its corresponding Edit button.
Fields
Adjustment Type - Select the data type the price adjustment applies to.
Exclude adjustment if cost is zero - Price adjustments can be applied to the per minute pricing, connection fee pricing and minimum charge pricing, checking this box means that pricing wont be adjusted for these if they’re set at 0.
For example: If a destination’s connection fee and minimum charge are 0 but the per minute pricing is £0.05ppm, if Exclude adjustment if cost is zero is checked, the per minute pricing will be adjusted but the connection fee and minimum charge will not.
Action - Defines how you would like to adjust the pricing, Increase by Percentage/Decrease by Percentage will allow you to add or subtract a percentage-based markup, Increase by Amount/Decrease by Amount will allow you to add or subtract a specific amount of (major currency) charge whilst Set Fixed Amount will allow you to specifically define the Per Minute, Connection Fee and Minimum Charge values.
Per Minute - How much you wish to adjust the per minute/per unit price. If Action has Increase by Percentage/Decrease by Percentage selected, the Per Minute field will be in percentage format, otherwise it will be in major currency (pounds) format.
Per Call Price/Connection Fee - This field only appears if Action is set to Set Fixed Amount. Allows you to set a fixed amount for a connection fee.
Minimum Charge - If you wish to override the Minimum Charge value, enter a value into the field in major currency (pounds) format.
Apply To - Defines what you want the price adjustment to apply to, Everything will apply the adjustment to all designated destinations and providers regardless of tariff or customer, Tariff will apply the adjustment to all designated destinations and providers for a designated tariff, and Customer will apply the adjustment to all designated destinations and providers for a designated customer.
Tariff - This field only appears if Apply To is set to Tariff and it allows you to define the tariff the adjustment will apply to. Click the drop-down and you’ll be presented with a text box filter, enter at least 2 or more characters to filter through your list of tariffs and then click the tariff you wish to select.
Customer - This field only appears if Apply To is set to Customer and it allows you to define the customer the adjustment will apply to. Click the drop-down and you’ll be presented with a text box filter, enter at least 2 or more characters to filter through your list of customers.
Destinations - Defines the destinations the price adjustment will apply to, select Destination if you wish to select a single destination or Group if you wish to select a group of destinations.
Destination - This field only appears if Destinations is set to Destination, and it allows you to define the destination the adjustment will apply to. Click the drop-down and you’ll be presented with a text box filter, enter at least 2 or more characters to filter through your list of destinations and then click the destination you wish to select.
Group - This field only appears if Destinations is set to Group, and it allows you to define the destination the adjustment will apply to. Click the drop-down and you’ll be presented with a text box filter, enter at least 2 or more characters to filter through your list of groups and then click the group you wish to select.
Telecoms Supplier/Provider - Select the supplier/provider you wish the price adjustment to apply to.
Once you’re happy you have entered all the price adjustment information correctly, you can then click the Create Price Adjustment button at the bottom of the screen to add your price adjustment to Billingbooth, or the Save Changes button to save any amendments to your price adjustment.
